Trash Chute Section
Typical trash chute section for centralized handling of general household or office waste. All materials are prefabricated to shop drawing specifications. Expansion joints are provided permitting light variations in heights. These chutes are made of standard 16 gauge impact and corrosion resistance aluminized steel. Stainless steel available upon request.

Trash Chute Door
Standard hand operated type intake, noiseless, self-closing, bottom hinged, 1-1⁄2 hour, 250°F, 'UL' label. MEA B labeled for New York City. Finish of # 304 nickel bearing stainless steel # 3 finish.

Trash Chute AC Discharge
The Accordion Fire Damper spring loaded discharge bears a 1-1/2 hour ‘UL’ label and is held open by a 165° fusible link assembly. This door is intended to provide smoke and fire protection to the chute riser and is not designed to perform as a shut off gate.
